Batman X Fortnite Zeropoint

I bought this comic book from Worlds Apart in Birmingham. I like the illustration style and I’ve already got three of the comics so I wanted to buy the whole book too. If you look at the picture below you can see that the story and the art is produced by a big team of people. My favourite parts are when the characters go into the new Fortnite world near the beginning

The layout is very varied. For example one page has a long rectangular box and then four panels down the other side. Batman stands in a cool pose at the top of a cliff against the sky looking down on the Fortnite world. You read the four panels from top to bottom which moves you further into the story.

Another example is on a page with three bigger panels because the illustrations need to be wider. The top one shows Batman fighting Gold Midas and we see his body falling to the floor. The colours then change in the second panel and we see him looking out at us – we don’t really know what he is looking at. The colours change again to purple which shows the storm closing in and Cat Woman is standing next to Batman.

A bit further on there is a bigger picture which shows when Harley Quinn appears. She is a homicidal maniac and very skilful at fighting. This illustration shows her standing on one person while another goes flying when she shoots them.

I recommend this comic book because I like the illustrations and it’s good if you like both Batman and Fortnite because its a collaboration.
